Sands College of Performing Arts and Deaf West Theatre have launched an artist-in-residence program dedicated to bridging accessibility and performance in musical theater training. The partnership reflects Pace’s commitment to inclusive education and innovation in the arts, Broadway World reports.

Beginning this fall, Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Sands College of Performing Arts and , the Tony-honored company known for pioneering bilingual productions in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, are launching a groundbreaking artist-in-residence program focused on bridging performance and accessibility in musical theater training.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ is ranked No. 5 on Playbill’s list of colleges with the most alumni performing on Broadway during the 2024–25 season—recognizing Pace’s strong pipeline from classroom to center stage at the Sands College of Performing Arts.
Sands College of Performing Arts recently announced the appointment of three distinguished artists to its faculty for Fall 2025: Tony Award nominee L Morgan Lee as clinical assistant professor of musical theater, Broadway performer Shonica Gooden as clinical assistant professor of commercial dance, and Broadway stage manager Matthew Stern as clinical assistant professor and program head of stage management.
